Social
Welcome to the Prediabetes Awareness Social Media Toolkit.
Your support will go a long way to raise awareness of prediabetes as well as the resources available for people at risk. To help get the word out on social media, we’ve provided social media messaging and graphics that your organization can share across its Facebook and Twitter channels.
Please write to your local partners and ask them to share this customizable content. They might be especially interested in the social graphics highlighting the alarming prediabetes statistics in their state.
Check back often, as we’ll continue to update this content throughout the year.

HELP US RAISE AWARENESS OF PREDIABETES
You can help spread the word and encourage more potential parents to consider adopting older teens from foster care! Share the below posts and graphics across your channels and networks to help spread the word about the Adoption from Foster Care campaign.
ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
This new PSA campaign aims to raise awareness of prediabetes, a serious health condition that affects 86 million Americans (more than one in three adults) and often leads to type 2 diabetes. That one in three could be you, your brother or sister, your best friend or partner. Nearly 90 percent of people with prediabetes don’t know they have it.
To help those with prediabetes know where they stand and prevent type 2 diabetes, the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have partnered with the Ad Council to launch the first national PSA campaign about prediabetes. Know where you stand. Visit DoIHavePrediabetes.org and take the short online risk test now. You can also take the risk test through your phone or mobile device by texting “RISKTEST” to 97779.
